The owner was welcoming and friendly, and even pointed us toward a lantern festival near the night market because we had our child with us, suggesting we take a taxi. The location is handy for amenities, with a 7-Eleven and parking nearby. The room itself was a different story: the air conditioning was running and couldn't be controlled or switched off, and the shower water stayed cold even after we waited two minutes as instructed. There were lots of little insects in both the bathroom and bedroom. The fridge leaked, leaving everything soaked when we got up to retrieve our things. My child's toys rolled under the bed, and the floor was filthy when I picked them up. There was hair on the pillow too. Overall the environment was poor.

The owner is an enthusiastic young person, and the guesthouse is close to the train station. There aren't many rooms, but ours was simple, clean, and comfortable. Kids' toys are available in the first-floor lobby. You can rent a motorcycle nearby, and Dongdamen Night Market is very close. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in Hualien! 👍

The landlady was so friendly that she even gave us rice balls for breakfast the morning after check-in. There's free parking, and the guesthouse was clean and hygienic. We could buy food to eat in the little first-floor living room.

Downstairs, there were tasty rice balls for breakfast, and parking was free. My room was clean and comfortable. The owner thoughtfully took the initiative to help me apply for domestic travel subsidies.
