Penghu Colorfish Homestay

I fell for Penghu on my first visit and would happily stay here for a month. Colorful Fishing Resort gave me the best B&B experience I've had, and I highly recommend it! We arrived on the first evening and were blown away by the views. The sunset was picture perfect, the setting was magnificent, and the night sky was full of stars. The beach is close by, and they also suggest hidden gems. Every day, we were captivated by the scenery. The rooms were clean and quiet. The owner's paintings and murals throughout the place made it feel warm and welcoming. Each day the owner made us a comforting breakfast, including homemade soft-serve noodles, small tubes of rice noodles, and freshly brewed coffee. Before we reluctantly left for our flight, we were treated to their famous brown sugar cake. Five days here made for a perfect vacation, definitely five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the whole clean, tidy room to ourselves, and since there weren't many neighbors around, we could sing and party until morning. The hostess was so welcoming and made delicious rice noodles fresh for us. The airport is right behind the B&B, so you can watch planes taking off and landing. The owner also offers luggage pickup, which is handy. Great for a group of friends.

We slept really well in the super comfortable room, and watching the sunrise and the planes come and go was lovely. The hostess was thoughtful and welcoming, and the location worked well for staying up late without worrying about complaints. I brought friends from overseas to Penghu and they all had a great time. Next time I visit, I'll stay here again. It's also worth arranging a car with the hostess for a better price, since dealing with scooters or car rental, parking, and the sun can be a hassle.

I nearly forgot to mention how good the food was. The morning meal was squid, seafood and shrimp noodles, coffee, and a special salad, all plated so nicely it made me hungry just looking at it. We arrived in Penghu in a rush and had no time to eat before our last flight, so the owner kindly drove us to a great restaurant after we landed. They lent us thick coats and raincoats too. Then I realized I'd left my watch in the room before my flight back to Taichung, and the owner's wife brought it to the airport right away. I'm so grateful for all their help over those two days. I also met the owner, who's a skilled fisherman and paints all the murals himself. I thought they were store-bought at first. Custom murals are available too. I'll come back to Penghu for sure.
