Ryan was so friendly and helpful, and the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. He made our stay feel extraordinary. The B&B is right by the beach, with beautiful ocean views. Inside, the lobby is lovely, the rooms are clean, stylish, and well equipped, the bathroom is large, and the bed is cozy. Clearly the best B&B we’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’d recommend it 100% to anyone staying in Hualien.

The place felt a little removed from town, which made it feel secure. We had a spotless second-floor room facing the ocean, and the friendly staff brought a simple breakfast to our door each morning. It’s set up in Japanese style, with tatami, a low table, and floor cushions.

Borrowing bikes to ride along the water and joining the coffee activity were lovely parts of our stay. The coffee was delicious, too. At Moon Nine Villa, the hosts made us feel at home right away, even with my questionable Mandarin, and the whole space is so thoughtfully put together. We had a wonderful time.

The room had a real treasure of a view over the ocean in Hualien. The facilities were lovely, the staff were super friendly, and it all felt up to a five-star standard. We really enjoyed staying here.

If I get to visit Hualien again, I’d choose Moon nine villa for another night. I still remember how fresh and nutritious the breakfast was, and the tiramisu was so good. The space is exquisitely designed, and the service was right on top of things. It seems suitable for people of any age.
