Chia Yuan Homestay

The food was so good we finished the whole pot of vegetarian porridge and ordered another. The owner also prepared side dishes for our family, since we're all vegetarian, and made everything feel thoughtful and nourishing. We stayed at Jiayuan Cozy B&B in Hualien City on the second night of our four-day Mid-Autumn Festival trip to Hualien and Taitung. The place was spotless, and the owners were warm and welcoming. We'd happily stay there again on our next trip. 🐻😺

The peaceful setting and convenient location made this a lovely place to stay. Our room was comfortable, pretty, and clean, and the landlady's homemade breakfast was delicious. She was so welcoming that it felt like being with family. I'd gladly choose this guesthouse again in Hualien. 👍

There were around a dozen of us, parents, kids, and siblings, and the stay felt comfortable and homelike for everyone. The owner and his wife were genuinely friendly, the surroundings were lovely, and breakfast was delicious. We also thought the price was great for what we got. We'd come back when we're in the area again.

Breakfast was made by the owner herself, with a tasty, healthy balance, and they also served afternoon tea and fruit. Her warmth made us feel at home throughout our stay. The room was roomy and comfortable, with thoughtful modern features like a bidet toilet and an easy-to-use flush toilet. From the lobby to the room decor and furnishings, everything looked carefully put together. We'd visit again. 👍👍👍
