The surrounding scenery is lovely, with plenty of parking, though Hualien downtown is about a 25-minute drive away. The vegetable dishes were very fresh, and the manager said the restaurant grows all its vegetables on its own farm. The facility is LEED certified.

The food was a highlight for me, all farm-to-table, healthy, and a great experience. The hotel also had a schedule full of fun things, including yoga, neighborhood tours, and a tour of the plants on the grounds. Staff were always smiling and ready to help, which made the stay feel relaxed and easygoing. I'd definitely come back.

We liked the peaceful garden setting and the pool, and the restaurant serves nice local products. The main thing to improve is the pool area's cleanliness. The mattresses and sunbeds needed better upkeep, though they cleaned the area right away after we complained. Apart from that, everything met expectations and felt worth the price. We'd return.

The room was spacious, and I especially enjoyed the bathtub and the sauna's natural herbal aroma. The food was a little too light and healthy for my taste, though it was nice to sample the ingredients' original flavors and appreciate the low-carbon supply from the farm next door. The team has kept up organic farming for over 30 years and maintained a healthy ecosystem. I'd recommend the resort to people who care about sustainability and their health. I will definitely return, probably with my parents or older friends, and stay at least two nights.
