The hostess was really nice, and the place felt comfortable because it was clean and had no unpleasant smells. It’s quiet, has everything we needed, and can fit 10 people. Outside, there’s a lawn and a little pond among lots of succulents and staghorn ferns. Looking out the windows, all you see is lush greenery. Highly recommend.

We were six people and had a great time renting the whole guesthouse. The garden is carefully kept, and the big outdoor table was a lovely spot to sit, chat, and have drinks. Inside, there are two four-person rooms, a double room, and a roomy living area. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, plus there’s another shared one off the living room. The kitchen has all the appliances, and there’s a washing machine too. We checked in on July 30th. It was quiet, clean, and tidy, and only a 10-15 minute drive from Hualien city center, so we could talk and relax without bothering anyone. The owners explained things clearly when we arrived, then left us to enjoy ourselves. They were kind and helpful. There’s karaoke equipment and a mahjong table. Bring your own mahjong set if you can, since the tiles they provide are quite small. Everyone in our group was very happy to get this rare chance to travel together and have so much fun. There’s no breakfast, which suited us since we like staying up late and sleeping in. The price was reasonable, and we didn’t have to get up early or leave food uneaten. It was also a much better deal than other guesthouses offering an entire place. Thanks, Yunping Guesthouse, for such a wonderful night. We’ll definitely come again. Highly recommend renting the whole guesthouse in Hualien!

Everything we needed was there, even capsule coffee, along with the usual home appliances. We stayed from 2023/1/1-1/2 and it felt warm and homey. The room and bathroom were comfortable, and I fell asleep soon after lying down. The husband and wife who run the place were both courteous and made us feel at ease. I’d choose to stay here again when I come to Hualien. Definitely recommend it!

I was happiest with this guesthouse during my Hualien trip. It’s on one level with no stairs, so it works especially well for older family members. The garden outside is lovely, and the inside was spotless. Even the window frames were free of dust, which showed how much care the owner puts into keeping it clean. There are mahjong and karaoke facilities for time with family or friends. A great pick for a family trip, highly recommend! :)
