Hsing Fu Hotel

My wife booked this online for our family vacation, and the place turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We had a four-person room with a private indoor onsen tub. It was winter, which was ideal for a visit, and the newly renovated reception also serves as a cafe counter. The hotel staff were very friendly. I asked for ice cubes, but the ice maker was down, so they said they'd bring some to the room an hour later. It's about a 500m walk to Main Street, with plenty of food and shopping options and a lively atmosphere. We didn't get to eat at the hotel or try breakfast, so I can't say much about that. Good value and an enjoyable short stay.

We booked 3 rooms for our family and loved how large they were, as well as having an onsen in each room. Breakfast was lovely and the service friendly. It's a little away from the main street, but that made the stay peaceful and quiet. Such a pleasant time, we'll definitely come back.

I spent a night at Hsing Fu a few weeks ago for a solo birthday getaway and loved my stay. The staff were kind and made it memorable, the bathroom was gorgeous and modern, and breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely return.

We chose this hot spring hotel for its price and location, and the family room for 4 was clean and comfortable. Its private hot spring is a nice way to try one with privacy. We arrived early on 7/12/2023 and a friendly woman gave us a quick orientation, with detailed suggestions for what to do before the 3 pm check-in. The hotel could use more hangers for towels and clothes. It's a 10 min walk to town, which we enjoyed, especially after a full dinner, and it was nice seeing the town on foot. That walk seems pleasant in winter, though perhaps less so in summer. Being a bit away from the town centre may help keep the price more reasonable. The car park is right next door, so arriving by car is easy. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, especially the very good coffee. Thanks to the management for doing a great job running the place.
