A lovely place for a getaway from Taipei. It's tucked into the mountains away from the city, close to a lake for walks, yet the center is only five minutes away by bike. There are also plenty of restaurants down the road. The grounds are beautiful, the room spotless and cozy, and breakfast was a pleasant buffet with a really nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and they speak English.

Looking out from bed, you get mountain views and a sky full of stars. The bright, spacious living room opens onto a terrace beneath the Milky Way, and the place sits at the foot of a mountain road with few crowds. Frogs and insects make it feel peaceful and close to nature. It was a genuinely relaxing stay. The bathroom had a strong odor, though it wasn't from the exhaust or lack of cleanliness. And the bed shook badly whenever I turned even a little.

The owners were so friendly, and the afternoon tea and breakfast were both lovely, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. The surroundings were beautiful too. There are boutique shops in the building, and the whole family loved the hanging bamboo basket chair. Thanks for making our family holiday such a nice one. Highly recommend!

Whenever I try to book, it's already full. This is the home where Taiwanese TV dramas like "I Decided to Love You After Getting Drunk" starring Yang Chenglin and "Queen of Loser Dogs" starring Wen Shenghao were filmed. The #1 B&B in Taiwan.
