Cozy room and good value. Very convenient hotel, right by the night market and a subway station exit.

The location is hard to beat, with Cosmed, Watsons, the night market and Formosa Boulevard MRT right downstairs. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the hot water had good temperature and pressure. Three of the six pillows smelled odd: two green square ones and one sleeping pillow. The mattress was a thick, soft pad rather than a spring mattress.

On my first visit I loved the room with a bathtub, so when I booked again in February through Agoda for April, I chose a bathtub room once more. When I arrived, the room was completely different from the listing and had no tub. I contacted the staff straight away. They said Agoda had subscribed to a third-party platform, which had supplied incorrect room information. Customers only use Agoda, so we have no way of knowing it may be pulling room types from other platforms. I already knew from my previous stay that staff aren't always at the hotel and that I should contact them in advance through their official Line account with my arrival date and parking details. I did confirm my check-in date beforehand this time. The hotel receives the platform's bookings and can only give customers information through that platform. Since it doesn't have our contact details, neither side can reconfirm the booking or arrival date, and the hotel has to wait for customers to get in touch. I don't know why this stay was so different from the last one. It was a very unpleasant experience, and there were no bathtub rooms available that day. I hope the hotel can improve how it communicates with the platform.

The room I booked was small, though its design made it feel more spacious. One large suitcase fits comfortably, but two would make moving around difficult. There’s a bidet in the bathroom and the water pressure is very strong. The building and room use key card access, and I felt it was generally safe. The location is handy, just steps from Liuhe Market, with convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. Formosa Boulevard Station is close, serving both the Red and Orange lines. Exit 11 is nearest, though with luggage it’s better to take the elevator at Exit 1 and walk a little. You can leave luggage if you arrive early, with 20 minutes’ notice. There’s no 24-hour reception, but the hotel can be reached through LINE. There’s a kitchenette for preparing or reheating food, a washing machine but no dryer, clothes racks and a hairdryer. No fridge in the rooms, but each floor has a shared mini-fridge where you can leave your things with your name. An average stay, with a good location and convenient transport.
