Ailv Motel II

I’ve been coming to Jinxiong Hotel for nearly 10 years. When I return with my family each year, I choose it because it’s close to my parents’ home and next to my alma mater. The space, convenience, and quiet make it a perfect 100 for me. It’s low-key and friendly, communication is easy, and the service is very welcoming. The price is reasonable too: I think a motel under 2,000 NTD with this level of service is great. Even during Lunar New Year this year, the price didn’t shoot up like at other hotels nearby. If you want a pure vacation, downtown Kaohsiung might suit you better. There are many hotels there with several stars that cost more, so spend more if that’s the kind of hotel stay you want. This is just my personal experience, and I hope they keep operating permanently. 😅

The cleaning was acceptable for the price, but the facilities are definitely dated and some of the hardware is pretty damaged. For what it costs, it seems fairly reasonable.

At 1,600 yuan for a holiday, it wasn’t expensive, and the staff were friendly. I booked through the platform, though the facilities were old and cleanliness could be better. The water flow was extremely weak, its temperature was hard to control, and the soundproofing was poor.

Pretty good overall, and the room was great. Just be careful in the bathroom, since the floor wasn’t slip-resistant and felt a bit dangerous.
