The room felt dim and a bit dreary, with odd wallpaper, and I could clearly hear people in nearby rooms and the hallway. Smoke also came through the wall from another room. Housekeeping missed refilling my coffee on two of the four cleanings, and there was no conditioner or lotion. The bathroom door was frosted glass, which didn't bother me traveling alone, but I really dislike that setup when sharing with a friend or partner. There were some good points: the staff were friendly, and the bath was nice. Getting around was manageable, too. Sanduo Station is about a 10-minute walk away, with connections to other lines, and buses run from Sanduo Road a minute or two from the hotel. For the price, I expected more. It was only okay, and felt more like a cheap guesthouse than a hotel. Maybe those drawbacks would be easier to accept if it cost less, but it was quite expensive.

The room was clean, and the place was very quiet with no smoking allowed. We paid 1,976 NT during Tomb Sweeping and Children's Day, then added three hours for another 450 NT. There’s no breakfast. You pick up toiletries downstairs before taking the elevator up.

We stayed in a comfortable quad room, with a tub in the bathroom and strong, warm water. The interior design was lovely, and parking was available. Breakfast was a buffet with some tasty vegetarian options. We arrived at the cafeteria close to 9:30 a.m., but the chef told us to take our time.

The hygiene was awful. There was a cockroach in the bathroom, stained, smelly towels, and even noodles on the toilet.
