This was my third business stay at Brio Hotel, and it keeps exceeding my expectations. The complimentary afternoon tea and supper for all guests were an unexpected treat, with freshly prepared, quality food. Taiwan’s award-winning draft beer is also free-flow. The rooms are very tidy and well stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks. There’s a wide choice of TV channels for adults and kids, and the large, clean bed was exceptionally comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious with strong water pressure and plenty of toiletries. Power outlets include UK three-pin and US two-pin options. Check-in from 3 pm was quick and easy, check-out is at 12 pm, and the front desk team were warm and professional, at a level I’d expect from a five-star hotel. From outside, it looks like a modest boutique property, but it has a lot to offer once you’re in. Its location is one of Kaohsiung’s best, beside Central Park MRT station, with easy connections to the HSR and key city districts. The only small drawback is limited on-site parking, and nearby public parking is first come, first served. A top choice in Kaohsiung, highly recommended.

The late-night snacks, beer, and coffee were a plus, and the first-floor staff were very friendly, even checking whether I needed water. Still, I chose this hotel because of its many positive reviews and was disappointed by how small and dim the room was. It didn’t feel worth the money. If you book, pay attention to the view.

I’ve stayed at Brio Hotel five times this year, and it’s been a very nice experience each time. The room is spacious and clean. Ms PHOEBE works so hard and efficiently during snack time, constantly refilling food and tidying the area. She notices what guests need and responds right away. I’d choose this hotel whenever I visit Kaohsiung.

It’s a small hotel. We left our luggage on the ground floor before check-in, went out for a while, and came back in the evening. They upgraded us to a corner room that was tidy and had a nice street view. The soundproofing wasn’t great, though, and we could hear the neighbours talking. The staff were nice and helpful.

The Saturday we arrived was already sold out a month ahead, so book early. Prices were reasonably affordable, and we had a great four-night stay. The service was impeccable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!
