I had a small incident during my stay at E-Da Royal Hotel, but the staff were very helpful. I'd accidentally made two bookings, one paid and one unpaid. Helen at the front desk helped me sort it out quickly and smoothly instead of leaving me to handle it alone. There was also a minor miscommunication with a staff member. Rubina, the Manager on Duty, personally looked into what happened and made sure it wouldn't happen again. She kept me updated throughout and gave me clear information, something I've rarely experienced at other hotels. I felt very well taken care of thanks to that care and professionalism. Would I return to Kaohsiung? Maybe. Would I stay at E-Da Royal Hotel again? Definitely YES.

We went for my son's birthday, and there were lots of fun activities for kids. The pool was packed over the long weekend, but we still had a good time. E-Da World and Mall are right next door, so it was easy to find food and things to do. My son wasn't tall or old enough for some of the facilities at E-Da World. We'll definitely come back when he's older.

We stayed in tower 3. The location is far, and the floors felt sticky and old, with a mouldy smell. There was no USB charging port by the bed. Breakfast was in a ballroom at 9am, but the selection was small and the porridge wasn't hot. Nothing amazing, and the breakfast options were limited.

It's a great spot for the outlet mall and theme park, and there's a gym, a fun kids club for our daughter, plus plenty of shops and restaurants inside the hotel. The gym was great, but opening at 9am was disappointing for those of us who like to work out before breakfast. We thought breakfast cost too much for what it was. On our second night we bought things from 7/11 the night before and brought other food, and I'd do that again. A shop selling snacks, daily living items, diapers, and the like would be nice.

We had a good stay, and the hotel and rooms were nice. It's a bit far from the city center. I was a little disappointed by the pool, which I thought might be bigger and have more slides for kids. Breakfast wasn't very exciting either.
