The free coffee machine and wide selection of ice cream on level 1 are available around the clock. Breakfast was surprisingly good and enough for a decent meal, with mostly Chinese-style dishes as well as bread and fruit. The place was very clean, and it's close to Kuoshiuong station and a 7-eleven.

The staff were patient and helpful with my language gap, and friendly throughout. When the remnants of typhoon Fung-wong reached the west coast on my planned checkout day, I decided it wasn't wise to travel north to my next vacation stop. The staff extended my stay by two nights and called my next hotel to negotiate a cancellation without a financial penalty. That was really, really good. I stayed seven nights and had no complaints. The hotel was clean and well run, with a good free breakfast and free self-service laundry, and a great location near the central train station. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I enjoyed my stay here and found it good value for the cost. Of the seven hotels we stayed at over 22 days in Taiwan, this was the best. We traveled from Taipei to Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, then back to Taipei, and booked this hotel for four days and three nights. They offer free laundry, plus free ice cream and snacks in the waiting area. I highly recommend it.

The location is very close to the main station, about a 200m walk with medium luggage, though the night market is quite a walk away. Rooms are tight and small, but okay for the low price. Breakfast is small but decent, and they'll ask if you want more before they close. We had a good time and loved the place, though it's a pity there's no kids' play area. The best part is the laundry service, especially for such a tiny hotel. There are multiple machines and they're all free. You can leave a label, and staff will move your clothes out when the machine is done if you're away, so you don't have to wait around all day. That's amazing at this price.
