The night meal was way more than a little snack: there was a filling buffet with make-your-own noodles, braised pork rice, spicy hot pot, pumpkin curry, fruit, and tofu pudding with red beans/mung bean soup. I also appreciated how much trust the hotel places in guests to behave sensibly. The rooms were clean and quiet, and there was breakfast plus late-night food, along with ice cream, boiling water for tea, and really good coffee available around the clock. Everything felt high quality. This place is a gem, and I highly recommend it.

The breakfast selection was pretty good, and they also put out noodles for a late meal and other snacks. It's a very good place to stay and sits close to the freeway. The bathroom ventilation could be better, though. It gets uncomfortably hot in there after a shower.

The room had a clean, upscale feel, and the bathroom came with a bidet and massage shower heads. Breakfast is buffet-style, and the restaurant also serves late-night snacks. For what it costs, it felt like a five-star hotel at a three-star price. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kaohsiung.

The rooms aren't especially big, but the little conveniences made the stay pleasant. There were spare pillows tucked in the storage, fabric softener for keeping clothes fresh, and several shampoo and body soap scents to choose from. The staff were helpful, the rooms were very clean, even in the spots that can collect dust or mold, and both the midnight snack and breakfast tasted good. A very pleasant stay all around.

Kindness Hotel stands out in this area for hygiene and lodging standards, despite all the hostels nearby. The breakfast has plenty of choices, ice cream is available all day, and there are late-night snacks too. The big downside is the slow wifi. Of the Kindness Hotel branches I've visited, Jue Ming has been noticeably behind, with download speeds staying under 1Mbps during my stays. If you need dependable internet, this branch may not suit you.
