The room had a great view, but the facilities felt a bit old, and getting the shower temperature right was hard. Sound insulation was weak, too. I could hear children running and screaming from time to time. The staff weren’t helpful or friendly, and the service didn’t match what I paid. Hope this helps you get a better sense of the hotel.

We called four separate times to confirm the afternoon tea booking and arrangements for 10 people for a bridal shower. When we arrived, they said there was no reservation. Once that was sorted out, they served individual portions instead of the tower, which was fine with us. The service started an hour after our original booking time and took another two hours to finish. They brought only two or three servings at a time, with 30 minutes between them. I wouldn’t recommend this venue for groups.

The shower controls were really frustrating. Moving it one way gave unbearably hot water, and moving it the other way still meant waiting a minute for water that was unbearably hot. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but manageable. The slippers were too small and had to be assembled yourself. The view was spectacular. The breakfast buffet was lacking, though it came with the room, so I wasn’t expecting much. 3.5/5.

The beach was immaculate during our stay, despite earlier reviews I’d read saying it was full of trash. Dinner was delicious, especially the lamb chops, which I’d recommend. Breakfast wasn’t so great, though, and the staff were nice and helpful. Just don’t expect them to come check on you, you have to go ask when you need something. I don’t really see how this is a 4-star hotel. You’re paying for a decent room and access to a private beach. If that’s what you want, then yes. If you expect to be catered to, then no.
