If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give. We booked because this was the last hotel available when we wanted a place for the Coldplay concert. They charged me twice, 9,000 NTD instead of the 4,500 I was supposed to pay. When I called, they said they'd cancelled the second charge, but I still haven't received the money back. I raised it when I arrived and they gave me two receipts, one for the charge and one showing the cancellation. I asked for the money back that day, as soon as possible. They said there was nothing more they could do because the charge had been cancelled, and I'd have to wait for the refund. They said it was now an issue between me and my bank. I wasted time going to the bank to check, and after three weeks I still hadn't got my money back. I really don't recommend staying here.

The rooms could use some work under the new owner in the new year. Some are in really bad shape: the bathroom smells strongly musty, the floor is uneven, and dampness has left mold or peeling on the wall by the air conditioner. It takes away from the stay. I'm not saying this to criticize. I come here often for work and personal stays, and this is just my feedback from being a frequent guest. Better room comfort would benefit everyone. I still feel at home whenever I visit, and the front desk staff stay friendly even after some time has passed. The price, service, and value are all okay, and I'll keep supporting the hotel.
