Hotel Begins

The rooms were cozy, cute and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. It's a little pricey, but I'd still recommend staying here if you're visiting Keelung.

The rooms have a fridge, but no in-room safe. The hotel feels new and modern, and the location is outside the city center, though getting there still involves some busy streets. Arriving by car was the only real hassle. You have to stop on the street near the entrance while someone goes inside to get the parking keycard. Then you have to take the stairs back to the hotel with all your luggage. Not ideal.

We had a lovely one-night stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing. There are some short hikes nearby with beautiful views, and waking up to birdsong was wonderful. Take care on rainy days, as parts of the wooden boards outside were a bit slippery.

The hotel has a nice industrial style, and the lobby decorations were spot on for Christmas. Our room was spacious, clean and felt fairly new. I also liked the tea and snacks left in the room, and the staff were kind and friendly. It's a short walk to the Marine science museum, but the hotel isn't close to the town center. I'd suggest staying here if you're driving or have a driver. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a hotel in Keelung.
