Hotel Drizzle

The night market is super close, which was a bonus. I came to Keelung for the first time and this hotel ended up being the highlight of my two-day, one-night trip. I wasn't expecting much given the price and location, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was quiet and had a nice mix of art and culture. The kitchen was generally clean and had some free snacks. My room was a little small, but big enough. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

After the first night I was so impressed that I extended my stay by three more nights. The good reviews were real. It's close to KeeLung Train station, MeowKou night market, the sushi street stores and POYA mall, which has a cinema. The place is clean, well kept, quiet, spacious and modern, with a bidet. It has the right amenities, including towels, good-quality body wash and shampoo, and a washer and dryer for a very low cost. I asked about booking directly and got much better value than through Booking.com.

The shared kitchen is a real treat, with self-serve bakery items, snacks, handmade cookies and tea. There's also freshly ground coffee in the lobby whenever you want it. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and spotless, and the staff are friendly. Hotel Drizzle is just a minute's walk from the night market, with all kinds of tasty Taiwanese street food. There's a supermarket and an upstairs food market nearby too. You can get to Keelung from Taipei station by train or bus. The closest bus stop to Drizzle Hotel is for bus 2088.

Hotel Drizzle was great from the communication through to the stay. We had the wrong dates for our trip, and the staff quickly helped sort things out. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish, and the whole place had exactly the look we wanted. It's an easy walk to Keelung's night markets, and we could eat the food we bought in the lobby.
