The rooftop on the fifth floor was a lovely spot to catch the sunset, and there are walks along the harbor, cafés, restaurants, and hiking nearby. We spent one night at Spangle Inn Lin Dao Guesthouse in April 2025 and had a really lovely stay. Our room was clean and cosy, with low furniture that gave it a Japanese feel. The friendly staff on the first floor walked us through the facilities and nearby sights. There’s also a small shop selling Spangle products, plus a kitchen behind reception where guests can help themselves to cookies, crisps, toast, and cereal from the fridge. I warmly recommend Spangle Inn Lin Dao Guesthouse if you’re staying in Keelung 😊.

I really appreciated the self-serve kitchen, which had the basics for breakfast. The place was clean and modern, and our room on the fifth floor had a balcony and a great view. The location is fantastic, the price is low, and the staff were kind, helpful, and spoke good English.

Boss Chad was super friendly and easy to talk to, thanks for having us! The place is relaxed and no-frills, with clean rooms that were just the right size for us. There’s plenty nearby, and the area has lots of scenic spots. The abandoned Agenna shipyard is only a five-minute walk away. Check out the guided tours if you want to learn more about Keelung and its ports.

The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room was cosy and a reasonable size, with modern equipment. The hotel is in a handy spot near local amenities, and the harbor view is great. I’d definitely stay again.
