Four Sisters Villa

We really enjoyed being able to relax in the room, especially with the tasty food from room service. Both the braised beef noodle soup and pork chop scallion noodle were delicious. Entrees cost around $380, and my fruit shake, mainly pineapple in flavor, was about 100 something. Including the service fee, dinner came to just over 1k NT. Breakfast was also impressive in both presentation and quality. We were offered about five ice cream flavors from the lobby cart, available from 3pm to 9pm, and the complimentary coupon let us try the delicious Green Mango. If you like fruit sorbet, you'll love it. There's a small beach about a five-minute walk away. The water is very rocky, so it's better for walking along the shore and dipping your toes in, though we did see some people jet skiing. Before we arrived, we contacted the hosts through Expedia, and they kindly offered a free shuttle from Xiaowan bus station. I chose to take a taxi instead, but appreciated the offer. They also have WhatsApp, which made communication easy. A free shuttle runs every half hour to and from the Kenting night market, just let reception know when you'd like to go. After checkout, they drove us to the Xiaowan bus station, where we caught the tourist shuttle back to Taichung HSR. It was a very convenient and pleasant stay.

The atmosphere was lovely, with interesting paintings on the walls. We met the 4th sister at the beef noodle restaurant and learned that her daughter had drawn all of them. At breakfast, it felt as if we had the whole resort to ourselves, with only my entourage there. May Yen, the intern, made us feel at home and prepared a great meal, complete with the most beautiful coffee art. The beach is just across the nearly empty road. The night was very windy, but we felt safe inside our room. It was quiet, private, nicely decorated, and a good size, with comfortable beds and pillows. Ivy greeted us warmly when we arrived, and the service was top notch. They provided nice flip flops and a Nespresso machine with pods. Breakfast was good. A couple of small drawbacks didn't affect our stay much: the rainshower wasn't working as it should, so we used the regular shower, and unlike some other hotels in Taiwan, there were no night snacks or drinks. We picked up some food and drinks at the night market, so it wasn't a big deal. I highly recommend this resort if you're in the area.

We could see both the bay and the mountains from our balcony, and the view was stunning by day and at night. Irene was a great hostess, and the rooms were professionally cleaned and well organized. We took a short walk the next morning to nearby Banana Bay Fishing Harbor, then came back to the villa for a lovely breakfast buffet in a beautiful dining room. A great start to the day!

The location is very private, though some guests may need a car. There is a frequent shuttle to the Night Market, and a lovely secluded little beach with few people just across the street. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms were nicely decorated and appointed. For lunch, the menu only has beef noodle soup, but I guarantee it's the best I've had in Kenting National Park. They take pride in breakfast too, with one of the nicest spreads I've seen. For southern Taiwan, it's excellent, second to none. Four Sisters Villa exceeded our expectations.
