Pu Su Bed and Breakfast

I found this B&B by chance, and the owner's family were so friendly. The chocolate was delicious, and you could see the owner's care in the breakfast. I especially liked the barley and soy milk. The scenery was beautiful and calming.

We had some interesting books in our room, and my wife stayed up nearly until midnight reading them. There wasn't a TV, but we could unwind in the lobby with oolong tea or the owner's homegrown black tea. The room was spotless, and the bed, with an extra comfort layer, was the most comfortable one we had on this trip. The toilet had a bidet, the shower had separate wet and dry areas, and the water stayed hot. Breakfast was bread with unsweetened barley soy milk and an egg. A great place to stay for visiting the Phoenix Bird Park Ecological Area. P.S. It seems the owner is taking time off while her child has surgery, so weekday bookings are less frequent. The mountain scenery from the entrance is lovely, and the guesthouse feels cool, cozy, and comfortable. We've stayed here many times and keep recommending it. It's quiet at night, very clean, and feels like home. The owners are welcoming and happily told us about local specialties. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and made with local ingredients. The owner's wife's handmade bread was a favorite, tasty and made without artificial colors or flavors.

The balcony view was lovely in the morning, and the landlady's homemade breakfast was so good that I finished all the handmade bread even though I was already full. The room was spacious and tidy, probably the cleanest guesthouse I've stayed in. It was quiet too, with excellent soundproofing. Xitou is about a 40-minute drive away. Highly recommended!
