We stayed in November 2023 and chose a double room. It was clean and more spacious than I expected. There was a water dispenser just outside our room on the second floor, which was handy. The owner prepared a lovely Chinese breakfast herself, and the food was delicious and served with a personal touch. The B&B is not within walking distance of major attractions, so having your own transport would help if you want to explore nearby. It was a peaceful, charming retreat, and I really enjoyed our stay at this private house turned B&B.

Such a lovely-looking place 💓😍 and the best homestay in Luodong. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean, and the hostess was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We paid about Sgd60 for a double room, which felt like good value. The rooms were clean, the hostess was very friendly, and breakfast was home-cooked and good. I had three cups of coffee! Location could be an issue if you aren't driving, but we're driving, so it worked fine for us. This has been one of our family's best stays so far, on day eight of our Taiwan trip.

What a relaxing place, tucked away from the busy areas but still only about a 10-minute drive from Luodong Night Market. There’s private parking too, so getting around for food and shopping was easy. The countryside setting is quiet, and the thoughtful touches all around the B&B made it lovely to look at and photograph. The room was very clean, the water pressure was strong, and hot water came quickly. My favorite part was the hostess, who was funny and easy to chat with and made the stay feel warm. Breakfast was a happy surprise: the four of us got a whole table of simple, tasty home-style food. Aurora Castle B&B is now on my must-stay list for Yilan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The typhoon forced me to change my plans, but I still managed to go on vacation. The landlady communicated well and welcomed me warmly. I slept well in the comfortable bed, and the guesthouse itself was clean and comfortable. The hot water pressure was strong, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious, up to hotel standards. I ate two servings and left satisfied.
