Check inn Hive

The reception staff were very friendly and tried to get me into a room as soon as it was ready, around 1:30 pm, even though check-in was at 4 pm. 7 eleven is right across the road, and the hotel is in front of Luodong TRA with a bus stop just steps away. Luodong night market is also a comfortable walk. I stayed three nights and was very happy with the whole experience. Thank you!

We enjoyed the stay, and the hotel is also within walking distance of the night market and attractions like the forestry park. It's practically right outside the train station, which is very convenient. They stored our bags before check-in, and both check-in and checkout were simple. Our clean room was the more spacious option, with a bathtub, safe, and fridge. The TV stand swivels 180 degrees, so we could watch from either the bed or the living room couch. The only downside was the small single elevator. It fits no more than four people, so waiting could take a while.

As a solo woman traveler, I had a really comfortable stay at HIVE Hotel. The price was affordable, and it was probably the best place I'd stayed in Taiwan at that price. My bedding and pillows were plush, and the amenities felt modern, stylish, and practical. I liked the bidet and heated toilet seat, and the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries were a nice touch. The staff were courteous and helpful, and let me leave my luggage before and after checkout. There's a water dispenser beside the service counter. The hotel is right in front of the train station, so it's very convenient for exploring other parts of Yilan.

Their service really made our stay memorable. When my wife had trouble charging her phone, they lent us a power adapter, and they packed breakfast for us when we had to leave early for a hike. The room was clean and modern, and the location was great, just a stone's throw from Luodong train station. We had a pleasant stay.
