Cherry Inn

The scenery was lovely, and the rooms were very clean. The B&B owner was friendly, too. I’d definitely pick this place again on my next trip to Penghu, and highly recommend it.

It really felt like home, and the place was very clean, though the facilities seemed a bit old. The owner was so kind and helped carry our luggage from Guesthouse A to Caiyi, which we really appreciated 🙏. But no elevator was a hassle, and as a first-time guesthouse guest, I was surprised that the whole bathroom flooded after a shower because the drainage was poor 😂. We had to clean it up ourselves. I really dislike bathrooms without a separate shower area. One more suggestion for the owner: Penghu gets very hot in summer, so if possible, please keep the living room air conditioning on at least during check-in and check-out. There was no air conditioning in the guesthouse when we checked in, and I almost fainted coming in from outside 😵‍💫. This might not work well for families with children 😅.

We had no privacy at all. We went out to eat and came back to find someone had entered our room. The air conditioning had been turned off, and the bedding had been straightened, but nobody told us or even asked before going in. There weren’t even towels, toothbrushes, or other supplies provided, so why enter our room? Once we’ve rented it, how can you still go in without telling us beforehand that you’d be tidying up? What if something had gone missing, who would be responsible? Really poor experience.

For the price, I think this is a great deal. The room was roomy and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommended!
