The B&B is new, lovely, and very clean, and the owner is friendly. It’s well placed for getting to the city center or heading north and west. There’s no shuttle service, so you’ll need to arrange your own transportation. We flew to Penghu and booked a car agency near Magong Port. Since the drive from the airport to Magong city passes the B&B, we asked the agency to stop there so we could leave our luggage before going back to pick up the motorcycle. Carrying bags on a motorcycle is difficult. Seeing the one-star rating below was a bit unsettling, since we thought the B&B itself was great. They had also told us there was no shuttle and that we’d need to find our own transport. Do your homework and you should be fine. Wishing everyone an easy, lovely trip to Penghu!

We booked two rooms for three nights during our four-day Mid-Autumn Festival trip this October. The guesthouse was very new, and the "Safe Travel" package was fantastic. It was close to the city center and handy for island trips around the North and South Ring Roads. The stay felt like home: quiet, comfortable, and clean. Ms. Xu was kind and friendly, and the little gift she gave us made my mom so happy. A good trip needs a good guesthouse and owner. Thanks again, Ms. Xu!

With travelers over 60 in our group, getting around much after the first day seemed unlikely. There’s no shuttle, and they don’t take guests to the scooter shop or lend them scooters. They can arrange a scooter rental, but on rainy days their bikes have to be kept in a garage, so they just drew us a map and sent us on foot. The shop is a long 15-minute walk from the B&B. I’d only recommend this if you’re up for walking in the sun or rain for exercise.
