This is my second visit to Penghu, and I've stayed at this hotel both times. The facilities may be a little behind those at other hotels, but the place is clean and has what you need. The staff were kind and patient with all my questions, even though I imagine my Hong Kong accent wasn't always easy for them to understand. They still listened patiently. One thing I couldn't find this trip was the Penghu limited edition Mi Guai Guai 🥹🥹🥹

We couldn't check in early, so my friend and I went to get food while one wife and three kids waited. Without saying anything, the owner brought our luggage upstairs and got my children settled in. We were so thankful for that thoughtful help! The owner was considerate and gave great service. The surroundings were comfortable, and the location was great. My kids have already decided they want to stay here again on our next trip to Penghu! 😘🤣🤣🤣

The location is right in central Magong, the price is low, and the staff and their family were very friendly. But there were bugs all over: ants swarming in the room, moths on the walls, and other odd insects. The floor had lots of old stains, too. It felt like a cheap, worn-out room by a school, not a hotel.

It was easy to walk to the fireworks from this hotel in the city center, and there are plenty of places nearby for food and souvenirs. The service staff were polite and friendly, and the price was good. Soundproofing was the one weak point. I'd stay here again for the fireworks festival.

The location is great, in a busy area near the harbor, with restaurants downstairs and a Mazu temple and Guanyin pavilion by the coast nearby. For a three-star room, it's very good value. Service was also very good. Just remember that meals aren't included, so don't leave a bad review over that.
