The breakfast was the real highlight. I rarely rave about hotel breakfasts in Taiwan, but this one was excellent. The chef wasn’t shy with the chillies, and the dining room attendant showed a wonderful sense of hospitality. Madam, you’re a credit to your profession. The rooms and building are pretty utilitarian. The windows felt a bit small given the amazing views, and the shower stall was very narrow. The fireworks area is probably a 15-20 minute walk away.

I had a sea-view room, and the view was lovely enough to remind me of Okinawa. The hotel is old-fashioned and seems to be nearly 30 years old, with somewhat dated facilities, but the price is affordable. The elevator made it easier to carry luggage. The pillow was too thick for me, so I’d suggest bringing one you prefer.

The location worked really well for us, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had two rooms, so the price was pretty good. Bikes and breakfast are included for free. The breakfast could’ve been better, but the island has plenty of tasty food, so go explore.

Quiet neighborhood, friendly staff, and clean rooms. The breakfast was really good for the price, and scooter rental is about 100 meters away. Probably the best pick on Penghu’s main island for a low or mid-range budget.

The place was clean, and breakfast was great. The breakfast staff were nice, though I didn’t feel the same about the receptionist. They offer shuttle service, but you need to book it a day ahead.
