PengHu-Banff B&B

The location and view were good, but the early morning light was a real problem for me, traveling with young kids and being sensitive to sunlight. The windows don't block it, and by 5 am the room was very bright. Staff taped black trash bags over the windows, but they kept falling, so we had to secure them ourselves. There was also that odd smell in the water, as another review had mentioned. For what we paid, the service wasn't great. Replies were slow, and the breakfast choices weren't very good. We left at 8:15 am for water activities, and they thought that was too early to prepare breakfast. They bought food from breakfast shops and convenience stores, rather than making and preparing it early like some owners do. The lobby was spacious, but without air conditioning we could hardly spend time there. I expected more for the price.
