The place looks very modern, stays quiet, and has clean linoleum floors. The water pressure was great, and I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. They offer free airport pickup, scooters for 300 NT per 24 hours, and breakfast ordered from outside. It's about a five-minute walk to convenience stores and a mall, with the fish market a short ride away. I also liked being able to use YouTube on the TV and cast my phone to it. There are plenty of power outlets, which impressed me. My room had air conditioning, a comfortable mattress, a desk and chair, another chair with a small coffee table and phone, and two nightstands. There was no closet, just open hanging space with about five small plastic hangers and two wall hooks. The bathroom had a shower but no tub, a sink, great cleanliness, and dispensers for liquid shampoo and body cleanser. I bring my own bar soap. Two hand towels, two bath towels, two free bottles of water, tea bags, instant coffee, a kettle, and toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. The fridge had no freezer. Check-out is at 11, though they can store your bags. The shared area has unlimited tea and coffee, a fridge, a stove, lots of seating, and two computers you can use for free. Its bathrooms were clean and modern. A few drawbacks: the bathroom in my room was small, TV channels were limited, and guests need to return before midnight because the doors aren't open all night. The boss wouldn't give me extra pillows. I'm used to three or four, and no hotel has ever turned me down before. The scooter rental was essential for me, but overall, the place fit my needs very well. The price was reasonable, maybe because it was winter and tourism was quiet.
