WE Hotel

The location is ideal, and 1500 NT for one night felt like a good deal. Room 203 was clean, and the staff on duty on 2023-03-25 were friendly and kind. Parking is behind the hotel, but remember the road is one-way.

For the price, it's hard to find a place with a bed this comfortable, hot water, and strong air conditioning. A lot of hotel mattresses feel cheap even when the beds look new, but that wasn't the case here. The room is simple and clean, without fancy decor or extra fuss, and it covers the main thing you need when traveling: a good rest. This kind of quality at this price is rare. Thumbs up! 👍

The staff were friendly, and the hotel is in a fairly lively area. But I probably won't stay here again. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the hallway did too, from people smoking there. The bathroom and toilet smelled awful as well. A constant rotten sulfur and egg odor came from the drain, with fruit flies buzzing around. There was heavy mold on the bathroom walls and a lot of rust on the taps and showerheads. Hair was smeared across the floor when we arrived, so I felt like I had to buy blue-and-white slippers at a grocery store to wear in the shower. They supplied just one bottle of 3-in-1 shower gel, in my personal assessment. The attached parking lot was tiny, and fitting a car into a cramped spot was a struggle, also just my assessment. A four-person room cost 3300 yuan, in my personal assessment.

The room had no windows, poor soundproofing, and a musty smell throughout. The air conditioner was moldy and the room hadn't been cleaned. I paid over 2000 yuan for the night and couldn't sleep properly at all. Was that really worth the price?
