EG Hostel Nantou Taiwan

I only stayed one night and travelled light, so the stairs weren’t much of an issue. With luggage, it would’ve been a different experience, since there’s no elevator and I was on the top floor. This was a cozy, compact hostel in a residential complex in Nantou City. The room was spacious and tidy, and reception staff were attentive and friendly, always greeting me with a genuine smile.

The mattress was very soft, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have back problems. The room was clean and came with water bottles. The front desk ladies were friendly and very helpful. The office and rooms were in different places, and there were stairs, which made things inconvenient with heavy bags. The shower and most of the facilities were good. I especially liked the international electric wall socket. For a reasonable price, it’s fine for a night or two.

The room was spacious, clean, and had comfy beds, and the price was reasonable. It’s in a great spot near the market and stores. There’s a laundry room with detergent provided, and washing and drying cost very little. The downsides were no elevator and shower water leaking out. There’s no breakfast, though we didn’t mind that. Good value for the price, and I’d stay again next time we visit Nantou City.

The service was good, and the room was very clean and bright. Nice!
