We found the host warm and welcoming, and the location was good. The room was clean and had a dehumidifier. The bed and pillow felt hard to us, though, and streetlight came through the door at night, so bringing our own pillow and a sleep mask was necessary. We had a lovely stay and would come back.

The pickup went smoothly, and the owner was quite friendly. But they mixed up our room with someone else's and got the breakfast wrong. It wasn't ready until 10:30 a.m. When we contacted the staff, their attitude was awful. Whoever was handling breakfast on 6/10 needs serious coaching. That's not how customers should be treated.

The traditional Taiwanese breakfast, lovingly made by the owner, was a highlight for me. This B&B is run by a husband and wife team, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. It's right in the heart of Jiufen, about a minute from Old Street. I'd gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

I stayed here with my wife, our two young daughters, and my parents, and we had a lovely time. The kindness of the hosts really stood out. They were always giving us helpful tips, and when our daughter had an accident, they drove us to the emergency hospital. Thanks again for all your help.
