Nice view.

The room was extremely noisy. Sound carried from upstairs, from doors slamming, and from running water. A neighbor’s grandmother was yelling and banging from around 7 or 8 in the morning. The B&B’s thin metal door made every time someone came or went especially loud. The location shown in navigation wasn’t the B&B’s actual location. It’s on a dead-end alley with no parking, and when we arrived three cars were stuck there with no way out. The young man who answered the phone couldn’t clearly explain which lots were available. He said, “every parking lot is available.” If anyone can park anywhere, how could someone park in the wrong lot? I think the location has been inaccurate for a while, and they should consider fixing it. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and rain came down over the patio. The air conditioner remote was broken and still didn’t work after I changed the batteries. There was only one quilt. For this price and quality, I’d give it three stars.

The ocean view and location were great, and the room was generally nice. There was a sofa area to relax, and the air conditioning and fridge were plenty cold. The toilet flushed well, though the hair dryer wasn’t very powerful. They gave us two NT$100 7-11 gift certificates, which we could use to buy breakfast the day before and enjoy it with the ocean view the next morning. I called the owner and they came by with the key. The neighborhood is pretty simple, and using a traditional lock and key felt a bit unsafe. After showering, the bathroom didn’t ventilate or dry well, and the floor was still a little damp the next day. Even so, I’d definitely come back to this B&B.

The balcony has a stunning ocean view, and it’s lovely to sit there with coffee and look out at the sea, day or night. The upstairs room is spacious, with a little living room. The bathroom is downstairs and has a small bathtub. Very comfortable.

We liked the wooden floors and outdoor terrace in our upstairs room with an ocean view. The air wasn’t humid, the wifi was fast, and breakfast was healthy. It’s also close to the Daitianfu bus stop. P.S. The Wangjia taro cakes and grass cakes at Daitianfu Station are ten times better than the ones at Xlan.
