Jinshan Bay Hot Spring Resort (Quarantine Hotel)

The staff were really helpful and friendly, offering whatever assistance we needed. We went while a pipe had burst and the breakfast cafe was closed, so they let us know promptly and helped collect food for us. The hot spring and bathroom setup were very nice, and the room had the basics. Cold weather may have been a factor, but we had to let the tap run for 5-10 minutes before the water got hot. The hotel is quite far out, though bus 863 goes directly to the main streets. Most rooms are grouped in the main building. The resort-style section isn't in use and looks poorly maintained. Overall, it's acceptable for a hot spring hotel when the weather is freezing.

We were glad we picked this place for quarantine. The food was okay, and everything else exceeded what we could have asked for. It had a hot spring and ocean views, with a nice breeze and soothing waves when we opened the window. We even saw both sunrise and sunset.

The internet connection was the only downside. This was a very nice quarantine hotel, with a sea view and hot spring, plus some handsome windsurfing guys. I'd seen posts saying the portions were small, but there was more than enough for me: three meals, an afternoon dessert, and fruit with dinner.

The staff treated us terribly, with the worst attitude I've encountered while traveling. My friends and I had been at the nearby beach and roughly cleaned our feet, pants, hands, and arms before entering. We'd also changed our clothes, bags, and shoes, but staff still told us to leave because we weren't 'clean enough.' We were even willing to pay to use the toilet, since it was the nearest facility, but they said no. A simple refusal would have been fine. Instead, they said people like us made other residents feel unsafe and that the hotel wasn't clean, then chased us out.
