The house was new, clean, tidy, and quiet, but our stay for 16 people over 4 days and 3 nights cost more than 80,000 RMB and came with some really frustrating problems. The narrow road to the guesthouse felt dangerous for large SUVs and inexperienced drivers. Internet was extremely unstable: the TV kept dropping several times a day, sometimes for hours after 11:30 PM, while karaoke started buffering after 11 PM and disconnected right at 11:30. We were there over Lunar New Year, including New Year's Eve and the first day, so losing the internet and TV during the holiday felt unacceptable. I understand limiting noise on ordinary days to avoid disturbing neighbors, but this was a festive period. They also didn't leave extra toilet paper, and we nearly ran out on the last night. The only towels were small hair-drying towels. Those annoying details took my initial 4-5 star impression down to one star. I think it might suit a small group for one night, but a large group staying several days would find these issues a real hassle.

A whole-building rental works really well for family or company trips. The rooms are comfortable and nights are very quiet. There's a karaoke room on the second floor with an excellent professional sound system. McDonald's and night market food stalls are just a 10-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

It's a simple, clean guesthouse with karaoke on the second floor, and the surroundings are pleasant. There's a sign at the sweet potato garden entrance saying vehicles aren't allowed, but you do have to drive in directly to reach these guesthouses. You can also rent a car on the second floor. The listing mentions a room for 10,080 NTD per night, and renting the whole building costs 18,000 NTD per night.

On our yearly family trips with my parents, siblings, and kids, we usually choose private guesthouses. This one had the best-equipped kitchen of any we've stayed in, according to our whole family. We've even had places where the kitchen was locked and couldn't be used. The soundproofing was great too: someone was singing upstairs, but when we went to get something from the car, we couldn't hear it at all.

This suits people who care about quality and like a quieter atmosphere. I saw someone complain that a broken cup would cost too much, but this place probably isn't for them. You can tell the cup is bone china by its finish, weight, and the sound it makes when tapped. People who understand value will also notice that the homeowner is particular about details like the faucets.
