We paid less than 40US$ for the large room (207), and would happily stay there again if we return to Pingtung. It was clean and nicely decorated, with a big bed, large screen, central aircon, and a nice bathroom. The alley was very quiet, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast vouchers were included for the super famous place a minute away, which stays open 24 hours a day. The hotel is near the night market and movie theater, and the train station is a 5-minute walk away. Loved it!

The staff were friendly, but I would strongly discourage staying here. Our first room was dirty, with mold and stains, and full of cigarette smoke. After we complained, they moved us to a somewhat cleaner room, though it was still below standard. Breakfast was supposed to be covered by free vouchers, but the breakfast place was closed, so we got 40 NT per person back.
