Cat Walk B&B

I was here overnight for work. It’s tucked at the end of an alley, so there’s little traffic or foot traffic, and the covered parking keeps the car out of the weather. The space is a bit tight, though, so medium or large vehicles need to be careful getting in and out. At night the pillars are hard to see. The decor and furniture are showing their age, but everything was clean and comfortable, and the owner seems to maintain the place well. It was quiet and restful at night. The bathroom looks partly renovated to separate wet and dry areas. It’s cramped, but drains quickly. At this price, it’s normal that breakfast isn’t included. I’d rather find something I like to eat on the street than be given food I don’t really want. One little suggestion: the electric kettle really isn’t very good, haha. Maybe it could be replaced.

I wouldn’t take this room even for free. The bathroom drain was so slow that the water was still sitting there after I’d finished showering, and the whole experience was awful. The kettle lid was black and moldy, like it hadn’t been washed at all, yet guests are expected to drink from it. If someone gets sick, will they take responsibility? Do they have any conscience charging people for this?

The rooms were great and felt like home, and the place was comfortable and clean. The landlady was very friendly and pointed us toward local delicacies.

I’ve been back several times. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the cats are adorable, and the landlady is really friendly. Highly recommend!
