Puli Center Center Hostel

The owner is really friendly and makes great hand drip coffee. It’s clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with a nice spot at the back where you can listen to good jazz on LP records. Highly recommend for a visit to Puli!

Whenever my family and I travel to Taiwan, we keep coming back to Center.centre. It’s our favorite hostel, welcoming to both families and backpackers. The host is super nice, and we’ve had lots of great times there. The rooms and facilities are clean, and don’t forget to try the coffee.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the hostel has enough amenities to put together a simple meal when I don't feel like going out. Henry and Yating were very kind and accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, and having Henry's cafe right downstairs made morning coffee easy. Awesome stay!

The design is simple and easy on the eyes, and I felt comfortable there the whole time. The facilities stayed very clean during my four-day stay, and it felt like home. It’s a small hostel where it’s easy to make friends. The couple who run it are lovely. You’ll often see the owner around, and he’s a great source of information. Hearing his ideas about improving the place for future guests was inspiring. He may seem quiet, but do have a chat with him. Try his coffee, tea, or Coco drink too. There’s a bus terminal and bus stops just a few shops away, and Puli is a handy place to stay between Cingjing Farm, Sun Moon Lake, and Mt hehuan attractions, with a local feel. Look for the cute chalk drawing of his family below the cafe front counter. It’s easy to miss. I researched a lot before choosing this hostel and wasn’t disappointed. Thank you, center.center.
