The staff at reception were good, and the bus stop for Sun Moon Lake is only a 5-7 minute walk away. The rooms are old but clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Breakfast was just okay. It’d be better with fruit. Hot water is available on each floor in thermos flasks, though having an electric kettle in the room would be more convenient. Good value and a good experience.

For the price, this place was surprisingly good. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked in the rooms, and staff helped when needed. A solid choice if you’re staying overnight in Puli.

There’s a self-service laundromat right beside the hotel, and the lobby Wi-Fi worked well. In the room, though, Wi-Fi was unstable. The room itself was okay, but the toilet was very old and dirty. The hotel is old and has a woody smell.

The hotel chose a terrible time for repairs on other floors: January 1st. At 8 a.m., a worker started using a big hammer drill, making loud noise for hours. We couldn’t sleep properly, and I’m sure other guests were affected too.

There’s underground parking, and a laundromat across the street. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped, especially for the price.
