The room and bathroom were clean, though I did spot a little dust on the mattress, and a thicker one would've been nicer, haha. The family room setup was great for kids since there was no worry about them rolling off the bed at night. Parking was easy, and the owner was friendly and polite on the phone even though I didn't meet her. It's peaceful in the morning, with restaurants a short drive away. If you don't know the area, try to arrive before dark because the guesthouse can be hard to find, haha. GPS sent us on a big detour. I liked the stay and have already told friends about it. I'll come back next time I'm in Hualien.

We had the whole guesthouse to ourselves for this trip, and everyone had a lovely night. It was peaceful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. The landlady was so welcoming, thank you! I'd happily visit again if I get the chance.

The setting is quiet and peaceful, and you might even spot cattle outside if you're lucky. Hualien downtown is about a 20-minute drive away, with National Dong Hwa University, Yunshanshui, and Lichuan Fishery all easy to reach. The owner is warm and easy to chat with, and the rates are affordable because he wants guests to enjoy the B&B without spending a fortune. Our room wasn't big, but it was simple and clean. It had a Japanese-style dorm layout; the owner said it was planned with children's safety in mind, which was thoughtful. Breakfast was simple, tasty, and homey.

We had around four motorcycles, and there was plenty of room to park. It was a good stay overall. We'd planned a starlit barbecue, but the rain got in the way. The other riders shifted things around on their own, and the owner and staff pitched in too. The only snag was the four-person room. Its bunk bed was split evenly into four sections, and my friend moves around a lot in his sleep, so my space got squeezed.
