The rooms were clean and roomy, and the staff were friendly. When we arrived, the boss helped with our belongings and check-in. My child enjoyed stamping a post-it note, which the boss then arranged to send to our home country. The hotel is right on the beachfront, with an amazing view.

This was one of our favorite stays on the trip. The sea breeze and view were fantastic, the rooms had lots of space, and the staff were especially friendly. It's a shame tourism here has suffered since the earthquake, because there's still so much to do and this remains my favorite place to visit.

Waking up to the sea outside the window and having coffee there was a lovely part of the stay. The view was even better than I expected, and breakfast was generous. The owner was welcoming, and when a bathroom issue came up, they sorted it out right away. Our room was spacious, with a bathtub and plenty of hot water. Thanks to the owner and hardworking staff.

The guesthouse is close to Crescent Bay Farm and Ocean Park, with a 7-Eleven nearby, and it has its own parking lot. The decor and scenery are beautiful, and the price felt very reasonable. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows and a large tub, so we could soak while looking at the view. Breakfast was delicious too. I'd definitely come back.
