We stayed at 53 Hotel with an infant. The room was fairly clean, nice and spacious, and they had a crib and baby bathtub available in the room. The crib was pretty old, though. It's very close to Taichung Station and lots of food options. The front desk was nice, and when I checked in there were staff who spoke English and Japanese. Our check-in was about 15 minutes late because the rooms weren't clean yet. They also have two laundry machines, but the detergent cost $30NTD for one load. Hotel staff were using the machines too, so I had to wait and come back to do my laundry.

The staff were very friendly, and their luggage storage service was a big help to us and our family. The hotel is also conveniently close to Taichung station and other attractions.

We had a superior room with a huge bed that wasn't as hard as beds at so many hotels in Asia. The staff were great, breakfast was good and the price was reasonable. Right by Taichung main station, too. This is probably the best place we've stayed in Taiwan so far, and we'd absolutely come back.

The facilities were clean, and the staff were amazing, friendly and really helpful. The location was great, with several bus stops nearby and 2nd market within walking distance. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Taichung.

We had a great experience. There was always at least one friendly front desk clerk who spoke some English. The location was convenient for the train and bus stations, with cute restaurants and shops an easy walk away.
