The staff were great. When there was a problem with the room I'd booked, they listened and offered me a bigger, better room on the same floor. I was very pleased. The area is central but surprisingly quiet, and the location is nice, close to the Art Museum, the train station, and Calligraphy Greenway.

If you're a light sleeper, the noise here can leave you with no sleep at all. I could hear both the cars passing outside and people in the next room. The soundproofing is terrible.

We first stayed here before the pandemic and were wowed by the beautiful, clean rooms, courteous staff, and delicious breakfast. When we came back five years later, the rooms seemed worn, dusty, and aged, and weren't nearly as clean. They'd changed breakfast from a set menu to a buffet. It was good, just not as amazing as on our first visit. They can provide a crib if you need one. We still had a good stay, but the quality feels more like three to four stars now than five.
