My room was fine and the bathroom was clean. There’s a convenience store, laundromat, and Xiaobei Department Store within a ten-minute walk, which is handy. The downstairs neighbor kept reminding me, dorm auntie style, “Checkout is at 12:00, there are only a few minutes left.” If you want to experience a university dorm auntie’s stay, come here! It was 675 RMB per night.

For a solo trip, it’s an affordable, practical option. The room was clean and didn’t smell of smoke, and shopping and food are convenient nearby. Zhonghua Road Night Market is very close, and Rixin Cinema is there if you want to see a movie. A few small annoyances: the TV signal kept cutting out, there was no mini fridge, and there was just one power outlet. There’s no parking, and nearby lots are hard to find, so expect a short walk.
