F Hotel - Sanyi

There are some nice things here, like the big room, pleasant breakfast, and friendly staff. The room was generally clean, though the furniture looked dated. The tiled floor was really cold, and the bathroom was dark. The shower area also drained poorly. They provide a washing machine but no dryer, so you have to work out how to dry your clothes. There wasn’t a laundry shop within 15km.

The old street is just a minute away, and you can find food and a convenience store within a five-minute walk. The 3D staircase, one of the town’s main attractions, is literally beside the hotel. Inside, there’s a lobby arcade, a children’s playground, and a washing machine behind the arcade on the same floor. A water dispenser sits by the main entrance, and breakfast is served upstairs from 7 to 9:30. The food selection is reasonable for the price. Our room was spacious and clean, with a large TV positioned well for watching from bed, lots of channels including Fox Movies and HBO, and a heater for winter. The toilet was clean and roomy too. Internet speed wasn’t bad for a small town.

We especially liked the deep soaking tub in our room. The hotel itself is simple and worth the price. Breakfast wasn’t as fancy as in Taipei, but there was enough variety for vegetarians, kids, and adults, and the food tasted fresh with an authentic local flavor.

There’s an indoor play space for kids, a little small but still nice to have. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast was pretty decent too. The location is handy, just a two-minute walk from the night market. Great stay for the price.
