Feng Jia 25 Hotel

I stayed here as a foreigner for mandatory quarantine and the following self-health management period. The staff were lovely, spoke very good English, and communicated clearly through their Line account almost around the clock. I was ready to use my limited Chinese, but didn't need to. I'd rate the stay 8/10, a decent experience, and hope this helps someone. The hotel was in a nice location, though noise was a real issue. An elementary school sits below the windows and there's a middle school nearby, and the soundproofing is poor. I could hear coughing, doors opening, other guests' doorbells, TVs, conversations and room service. It got annoying at times, though it's not an easy thing to change. My room was very clean, with a comfortable double bed and nice pillows, plus a TV with some cable. The curtains blocked sunlight really well. The bedding let the blanket slip out and get shapeless, though. I also could have used more trash bags, since takeout trash built up quickly during quarantine. The bathroom was spotless and had nice supplies, including a comb, several toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and shower gel. There were around three towels, more than enough for eight nights, slippers and about ten bottles of water. They also provided a useful non-slip mat. The AC worked well without much noise. I didn't need it overnight because the curtains kept the sunlight out. A small bedside light would have been handy, since lighting the whole wall felt too bright at night. Still, I liked being able to switch off all the lights from bed with the wall buttons. Food delivery was alright, but I would have liked more variety and smaller portions. Meals also came quite early, especially breakfast at 7:30. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The room was clean and the low price made it a reasonable stay, but it was very small. There's no room service for tidying; the front desk said they only replace towels and take out the trash. The location was okay.

The staff were nice, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is quite a distance from Fengjia Night Market.

There was still body hair and a stain on the bedsheet, so the room cleaning clearly hadn't been done properly. Really disgusting.
