I had such a good time here. I especially liked sitting on the balcony in the morning, watching the cars and listening to them. The hand soap smelled lovely, and I appreciated having the toilet in its own separate space with a good bidet. I wish there were a dressing mirror outside the toilet, since that would make doing my makeup easier. One tip: getting a taxi through the front desk is much more convenient than using Uber, which is quite limited in Lihpao.

We were visiting from New Zealand, and it was our first time in Taiwan. The staff were helpful, particularly the ones who spoke English. We enjoyed being away from the city, and the free shuttle to the mall, race track, and theme parks was great. It was a unique experience, and we had a good time there. We also enjoyed the night market.

I was disappointed when room service told me they couldn't bring an extra pillow because all of them had already been taken. I hope the hotel does a better job of anticipating what guests might need.

We'd come back. It's a good, fairly new, kid-friendly hotel near Lipholand when the main resort hotel is full. We were on the second floor on the racetrack side, so seeing races from our room on the weekend was pretty cool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had some good choices and wasn't bad. The hotel was only about a year old, but it was already showing quite a bit of wear. Although it's a non-smoking roof, the hallways still smelled of smoke. That's the only reason I'm not giving it five stars.
