Stray Birds was cozy and very comfortable, with common areas that felt welcoming. The breakfast was simple but good, and I thought the place was great value for money. I really enjoyed staying here and would gladly return.

The shoe-free lobby made the place feel like home right away, and I loved the relaxed atmosphere. The team was welcoming, helpful, and kind, with good vibes all around. A great spot if you want comfort, connection, and a cool community. I recommend it 100%!

The rooftop is a cozy place to spend time, and even when people are working on laptops, they don’t bother you. Breakfast is covered with toast and tea, and the bathrooms are very clean. The only downside was that a lot of light leaked into my cabin even with the curtain closed. I’d come back next time.

Stray Birds is the English name for “Calligraphy Greenway Drifting Bird Hostel.” The rooms are on the lower three floors and quite comfortable, with a firm mattress that gave solid support. Laundry is on the balcony beside the kitchen, while clothes hangers are on a balcony behind the bathrooms on the room floors. The eighth-floor common room is one of the best reasons to stay here. It’s large, with two sofa areas, window seats with outlets for solo travelers, and a smaller alcove for privacy or a group. There’s a roomy kitchen and dining area with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. You can request an induction cooktop. The free breakfast is meager, just white toast and spread, and tea is available all the time. Coffee costs extra and is made by staff. The bar sells what appear to be local craft beers for around $125 each, beers you can’t get at Seven 11 or Family Mart. There’s rooftop access above the eighth-floor lounge, with a few tables and seats. It’s a long way down, so don’t look. Heh. Weekends can get festive with a good crowd, and I believe cooking on the rooftop is allowed if you have a grill.
