The staff were friendly, and it was easy to reach the front desk. Breakfast buffet ran until 10am, and concierge could reserve taxis, add clear tape around souvenir boxes, and deliver luggage to the door. This was my first stay here, for business. The bathroom needs maintenance. It flooded because the drain was clogged, and the tile seal came off during the first few days. The response was fairly quick after I went to the lobby to report it, but the dripping water affected my sleep. The conditioner on the top cabinet was also hard for me to reach. Daily housekeeping is available, though I would prefer the curtains stay closed because they announce daily window cleaning. Most taxis that came didn't take credit cards, even though we preferred to reserve with one. You also need to specify a non-smoking taxi, or you might find it hard to stay in the car. Still, it's a nice hotel to stay at.

We just had dinner, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The food was great, and the service was very good, as usual in Taiwan. They could make vegetarian dishes on special request, though that didn't seem to be their specialty.

The breakfast was good, and the room and bath were clean with good facilities. The curtains blocked the sun really well too. My one complaint is that it's too far from downtown.

I'd give it five stars if the beds weren't so hard. I can barely stand up in the morning. Maybe they suit fat Americans, but they don't work for us sporty Europeans!

The hotel has been open for years, but the room was perfectly clean, carpet included. The check-in staff were all friendly and ready to help. I really enjoyed staying here.
